The Southern African Clothing and Textile Workers’ Union (SACTWU) will host it annual National Bargaining Conference from 09-11 March 2012, in Cape Town.

On Saturday, 10 March 2012, the Conference will be addressed by COSATU General Secretary, Zwelinzima Vavi.

His expected speaking time is as follows:
•    COSATU General Secretary (Zwelinzima Vavi) focusing on Current organisational and political challenges facing the working class on Saturday 10 March 2012 at 11h00.

The conference will be attended by 160 SACTWU Shop Stewards and officials from all parts of the country and is called to prepare the union and its 101 000 members for the 2012 wage negotiations in the clothing, textile, leather, footwear and related sectors.

The conference starts at 09h00 tomorrow morning at the Eastern Boulevard Hotel (Corner of Melbourne and Coronation Roads, Walmer Estate, Cape Town, 021 448 41 23). Only the Zwelinzima Vavi session will be open to the media. All other sessions are closed.
