The Southern African Clothing and Textile Workers’ Union (SACTWU) is pleased to announce that it has reached another wage settlement. Workers in the Worsted textile sector will be receiving a 6.65% wage increase. The agreement was reached last week under the auspices of the national textile manufacturing bargaining council. The agreement will come into effect backdated to the 1st July this year.
