The applicant should have:


•    Matric plus  IT Diploma or Degree
•    CompTIA  A+ or N+ Certification
•    working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
•    working knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop
•    working knowledge of Apple and Android mobile devices
•    Network experience preferable
•    Able to do 1st tier end user desktop and remote support
•    Be technically proficient with ICT hardware repairs and installations
•    Have strong communication skills
•    Be able to work under pressure and work unfixed hours

SACTWU WORKER HEALTH PROGRAM (SWHP), a USAID funded initiative, has the below position available to support and complement the existing VMMC Program. The individual will be based in Ladysmith.

POSITION                 : MMC Coordinator

DEPARTMENT          : VMMC

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

•    Matric
•    Professional Nursing Qualification
•    Must be currently registered with SANC as a Professional Nurse
•    Minimum of 5 years experience as a Professional Nurse
•    Previous experience in MMC and in Management level
•    Previous experience in Programme management at Provincial/NGO/DOH level
•    Knowledge of DOH VMMC Policies & Guidelines
•    Understanding of District Health System
•    Must be available to travel
•    Must have a Code 8 Drivers license
•    Computer literate
•    Highly motivated and a passion for excellence
•    Maintain high standards of honesty, confidentiality and integrity
•    Communication skills (written & verbal) with various stakeholders, problem solving skills, interpersonal and strong leadership skills

MAIN DUTIES
•    Manage and co-ordinate the implementation of the MMC Program in the UThukela region
•    Provide Management support to the Roving MMC Clinical Team
•    Manage the relationship with key stakeholders including Provincial and District DOH
•    Do monthly reports timeously
•    Ensure quality assurance procedures for MMC Program
•    Manage inventory control, asset management and expenditure
•    Oversee programme activities to ensure that targets are met as per funding agreements
•    Mentoring of staff on regional level
•    Develop monthly planning schedules in accordance with District DOH requirements
•    Manage team performance against set targets
